Changes in European Union VAT Taxation
Effective 01 July 2021, import tax law changes took affect across the EU. All orders from EU member countries after that date will be subject to VAT in addition to any import duties that may also be assessed. As the purchaser, you will be responsible for paying these taxes upon import. Previously, there were value thresholds that meant many items were not subject to VAT. Those thresholds have been now been eliminated for good shipped to the EU from non-EU countries, and all orders will be subject to VAT regardless of their value.
