Very rare black Sovy reservoir cap/switch from an early E-Type. Condition is good overall. Float guard has some erosion around the top edge. The float mechanism is intact and operates freely, and the contacts make and break when tested with ohm meter.

These caps were used on cars produced between August 1961 and July 1962, and it is extrememly rare to find one on the market in any condition, much less functional.
